If Jesus was not mortal and mohammed was why is mohammed more importantrevered by Islam?

t has been mentioned in the Holy Quran: "Qul innama ana basharum mis-lukum yuha ilai-ya annama ilahukum ila-hun wahid". Allah (SWT) has declared that the Holy Prophet (SAWS) is one among mankind's mortals and commanded Him (SAWS) to announce that He is mortal. It has also been mentioned in the Holy Quran: "Qad ja-akum minal lahi noorun kitabum mubeen". "Noor" (light) refers not only to the Holy Quran, but it also refers to a characteristic of Rasoolullah (SAWS). That the Holy Prophet (SAWS) is "Noor", does not mean that He (SAWS) was exempted or free from the normal qualities of human beings and mortals, like eating and drinking, sitting and standing or lying down, doing trade and business, waging war and making peace, doing "nikah" and declaring "talaq", being afflicted with disease, etc. However, despite being a mortal, Allah (SWT) has bestowed on our Beloved Prophet (SAWS) innumerable distinctions, like declaring Him (SAWS) to be His (SWT) friend and the Leader of all Prophets, and revealed the Holy Quran to Him (SAWS) and declared His (SAWS) innocence from all sins, and above all, has kept Allah's (SWT) Acceptance and Pleasure, subject to devotion and obedience of Huzoor-e-Akram (SAWS). Somebody has said beautifully: "Baad AZ khuda tui, qissa muqtasar". Allah (SWT) alone knows best.
