Actually, "Mormon" is the other name. The official name of the Church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Church members prefer to be called "Latter-day Saints" or "LDS". "Mormon" is a nickname given to them by those who oppose the Church.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints may also be unofficially known as the "Mormon Church" or the "LDS Church". It's members often refer to themselves as "LDS" or "Mormon".

There are several small groups who have broken off of the Church who may have similar names but are in no way connected with it. These include:
Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (FLDS)
Restoration Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS)
True and Living Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (TLC)
The Church of Jesus Christ of Saints of the Last Days
and others.

If you mean RLDS, it is properly called either the "Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" or its most recent name change, the Community of Christ.

What is the difference between Latter Day saints and the reformed latter-day saints?

There is no church called the "Reformed" Latter-day Saints, perhaps you are thinking of "Re-organized"? The Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints broke off of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the death of Joseph Smith. Since 1999, the Reorganized Church has been called the Community of Christ. There are many differences between the Community of Christ and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While they share the first 15 years of their church history, it is often told with slight differences. The Community of Christ has about 250,000 members with headquarters in Independence, Missouri. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has about 14,000,000 members with headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah. The official websites of both churches are listed below under "Related Links".

The Church of Jesus Christ is another name for Christianity, and was obviously founded by Jesus Christ. There may of course be individual Christian churches with the name "The Church of Jesus Christ", which were probably started by the pastors or parishoners. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a Christian denomination, it is founded on the teachings of Jesus Christ but was started by Joseph Smith.
