basically it means total becaus it can be a balanced force
balanced force
I'd call it the resultant, but "net force" is a good name too.
The name for such a force is either "non-zero net force" or "unbalanced force". The name for the change of motion is "acceleration".
net force is a kind of force and balanced forces is another kind of force. You get it or you dont get it?
Unbalanced force means the Net Force. So if there was a force of 6N to the left and 4N to the right the unbalanced or net force would be 2N to the left.
This would be known as the net-force.
a cage a net and a tuna net
At 180 degrees the net force is at a minimum; the two are working against one another.
Add the different forces together to find the net force. For example, if you have a force of -5N acting on an object and another force of 8N acting on that object, the net force is 3 N.
Inertia will not be affected when "net" or "net force" is zero.
Net Force, Or Net Resultant Force, or Resultant force
The poper name for a force that pulls something is a net force, discovered by Newton and stated in Newton's Laws of motion .
