CENTRAL POWER
A well-pumping installation consisting of an engine powering a large diameter, horizontal band wheel with shackle-rod lines attached to its circumference. The band wheel is an excentric and as it revolves on a vertical axle a reciprocating motion is imparted to the shackle rods. A central power may pump from 10 to 25 wells on a lease.
