Did you lose your thesaurus? Asked, replied, snapped, yelled, screamed, responded, et cetera.
If you're writing a story, you really can just use said all the time (with the occasional asked, replied, or screamed). The reader doesn't really notice and it doesn't detract from your writing. It's also a lot better than using "guffawed" or "chortled" as opposed to said.
"Fascinating" is another word you can use to express interest or curiosity about something.

i dont think there is one, but if a teacher said you were late another word they would use is tardy.
Workers said they were instructed not to talk with families of the elderly they were caring for and not to fraternizewith one another.

Instead of "and," you can use alternatives such as "as well as," "along with," or "together with." In more informal contexts, you might also consider using a comma or the word "plus." Additionally, in some cases, you can rephrase the sentence to eliminate the need for a conjunction altogether.
If you want a word besides SAID, you can use the word announce. You could also use told or state.
Only in a direct quote from another source such as: "You go to the mall," Said Bill (Author Pg#). Otherwise Never use 'you'
