Hitler Mussolini and the military leaders of Japan did what in the 1930's?

Presuming you mean after their alliance: Hitler focused on expanding towards the east, and used Mussolini's alliance to form a union (or 'anschuluss') with Austria (something which Mussolini had not allowed Hitler to do before they were allies). With Austria now under German control, Hitler was now able to bypass any Czech fortifications on the German-Czechoslovakian border, and invade Czechoslovakia (which led to the Munich Agreement between Britain and Germany). Alarmed at Hitler's expansion progress, Mussolini looked to also expand, in an attempt to appear as equally powerful as his ally. Mussolini had control of Albania, and towards the end of the 1930's, he attempted to invade Greece, but were shocked when they were pushed back into Albania by the Greeks. It should also be noted both these men sent aid and tested their armies in the Spanish Civil War, on behalf of General Franco. They also fought in the North African campaign against the British Armies, and fought a 'see-saw' series of battles (where they would advance, only to be pushed back again). Italy's failures in North Africa (read about the Battle of El Alamein) and Greece saw Germany jump to their assistance on numerous occasions. After the Allied Invasion of Italy in 1943, Mussolini was forced out of power, but was reinstated by Hitler after the Nazi's occupied Northern Italy, whilst the Allies occupied the South. Now head of the Salo Republic, Mussolini did not last long, as his armies were pushed back into Austria via Italy. Mussolini was captured when attempting to flee Italy into Germany, and was then hung. Hope this helped :)
