Why won't my computer run any programs?
Read Before Answering --------> Ok, I had recently been infected with the infamous AntiVirus8 (what a joyride that was). I downloaded Ad-Aware as a last resort after trying almost every cure on the internet. Ad-Aware got rid of AV8 (thank goodness), but now my computer wont run or open anything. It also doesn't run regular internet explorer. Only the 64-bit version. This really sucks. It tells me it has an error sending the command to the system, and when I boot says that WMMB isn't running. Well, since I can't run or open anything except for sixty four bit internet, and my computer, I can't access WMMB. If I try to run something it gives the little blue circle, signifying it's loading. It will disappear and nothing will happen. It wont open. It will say its running on task manager, but it's window wont appear. I tryed system restore, and it fixed the problem, but (woopdy-doo) brought back back AV8. >:( I have a feeling that it has something to do with me removing AV8 with Ad-Aware. I am using Windows 7 by the way. And one last tid-bit. Randomly, but not very often, I get a blue screen, and my computer will auto reset. I have scanned my computer with McAffee and Ad-Aware, and it says that I'm not infected with anything. When I system restored, what stood out, was that it was going to restore something about Windows C++. I know C++ is a form of computer language, but whenever I restore that AntiVirus8 comes back! So then I will have to restore my computer back before the original restore. Going in a circle. Like I said, AV8 will be gone, but I wont be able to open or run any files. I need help, bad. My entire computer has gone insane.
