The word hike has two meanings: one that has to do with walking and one that has to do with raising (i.e. "tax hikes"). As far the use of the word referring to raising, antonyms will include: decrease, diminish, lower, reduce, etc.

The more common use of the word, being the one referring to walking or backpacking does not have any real antonyms. Depending on the context, one may want express that one was NOT hiking and was thereby resting or perhaps they drove or biked rather than hiked. Again, it all depends on the context.
