Michigan Armanent was a company in the early sixties who were located in Walled Lake Michigan, near Detroit. They took components and assembeled them to many variations like ambi safety, aluminum frames, adjustable sights etc. Quality was very good. Later they moved to California and quality went downhill, hence they stopped. I have had 4 all in 45 ACP. "Survivalist" was the best. Also one called "Custom Combat". One owner was John Pope, forgot the other guy. Old issues of Guns & Ammo in the early '60's had advertisments. I still have two of them. Ciao Michael
