If you find a used one, expect to pay about $1500-$2000 in total. A rebuild usually runs about $1500, and a factory replacement is around $3500 before labour. I have had to replace my 1996 Dodge Caravan's, it cost me about $2000 since i bought a modeately used one. and my 2003, which cost me about $5000 after all the factory replacement fees and crap.
