The Polish word for grandma is "babcia".
Baba Yaga is a sort of Witch type character who ambles about in a traveling hut or yurt ( maybe a very bad adaptation of a Walking Crane!) She is obviously an adult character, and not a juvenile one. In some versions she is cannibal on kids, others more or less a reformed Female Shady character. The traveling hut is something like a walking crane!
