The reason Batman doesn't reveal his true identity to the world is because the world still needs Batman ( or at least Gotham City needs him . ) In my opinion , I don't think Batman will ever truly reveal himself to others , but who knows ? Anything and everything is possible .

In some incarnations, yes. But in the main Batman story line, the Joker does not know that Batman is really billionaire Bruce Wayne. As said, Joker has deciphered Batman's true identity in a few story arcs, however those tales do not pertain to the the big picture. Au Contraire, previous poster.
