its used as a "base". it helps make foundation go on smoother and last longer. its also great if you get a mineral one, it helps to protect skin from the chemicals in your makeup
Yes it is very good for your skin. It acts as a moisturizer and most act as a replacement for foundation. Some people use certain BB creams as a base then adds foundation but you don't have too. Lots of people say that BB cream helps to also brighten the skin. Unlike foundation that does nothing for you skin, BB cream is actually very healthy for you! I hope this helps!
Yes, BB cream is considered a type of makeup, but it is very light and natural. A bb cream combines light makeup with skincare benefits. It helps even out skin tone, gives mild coverage, and makes the skin look fresh without feeling heavy. Many people use bb cream from spawake as an everyday option instead of foundation. So, in a simple way: BB cream = light makeup + skin care
BB cream (Beauty Balm) is mainly for daily use. It gives light coverage, evens out skin tone, and keeps skin moisturized. It’s best if you want a natural look with skincare benefits in one step. CC cream (Color Correcting) focuses more on fixing skin concerns like redness, dullness, or uneven tone. A CC cream offers slightly better coverage than BB cream while still feeling light on the skin. If you want a quick, fresh look, BB cream works well. If your goal is to correct skin tone and look more even, a CC cream from spawake is a better choice. In short: BB cream = light coverage + hydration CC cream = color correction + smoother finish
In today's marketing there are huge number of the Creams are available. But you have to select a best cream for you. As you mention above that your skin is oily then,. Before selecting any cream you have to take a look on its salt (things included in Cream), Make sure any of the salt will not harm your skin.
belmesh balm
You can but you do not need to as most bb cream all ready has primer in it.
A BB cream is a multi-tasking beauty product designed to simplify everyday skincare and makeup. The name stands for “beauty balm” or “blemish balm,” and it blends the benefits of a light foundation, moisturiser, and skin-enhancing formula in a single tube. Think of it as a soft-focus filter for the skin—something that evens tone, adds moisture, and gives a natural, healthy glow without feeling heavy. Unlike full-coverage foundations, a BB cream offers a breathable finish that looks effortlessly smooth. A product like Spawake Bb cream for face can provide lightweight coverage while contributing to a refreshed and balanced appearance. Many BB creams also include brightening elements, hydration, and a touch of skin nourishment, making them ideal for quick routines or minimal makeup lovers. In essence, BB cream is the go-to choice when the goal is to enhance skin naturally, keep the routine fuss-free, and still enjoy a polished, radiant finish.
BB Cream can be bought at many department stores. You can find BB Cream at Target, Walmart, Kheil's and Sephora. You may also find them at Ebay or Amazon as well.
In most makeup routines, primer comes first, followed by BB cream. Think of primer as the smooth canvas that prepares the skin, while BB cream for face adds light coverage, hydration, and an even-toned finish. Primer works like the base layer that holds everything together. It helps soften uneven texture, keeps makeup in place for longer hours, and reduces the appearance of pores. Once the primer settles, applying Spawake Bb cream for face becomes much easier and more seamless. The cream glides over the primed surface, blending effortlessly and giving a more polished, natural look. However, beauty isn’t always one-directional. Some prefer to skip primer when going for a minimal routine or when the skin already feels smooth and well-moisturised. In such cases, BB cream alone can still create a fresh, breathable finish.

A good BB Cream will depend on your skin type (dry, combination or oily). I'm not an expert on BB creams but I can give you a review of the ones I've tried. I have very oily skin not only on my T-Zone, also have sensitive skin, and had uneven skin tone. BRTC BB Cream - Perfect Recover Balm - for me this is the best of the 4 BB Creams I tried. Completely made my skin even tone like in 2 weeks and gives the best and specially more natural coverage. You really don't look like you have any make up with this bb cream (remember to give 5 minutes to set to your natural color). However, is the hardest to blend and the most expensive. It doesn't have any SPF which I don't mind. The problem for me is that is the most oily of all but don't worry it didn't gave me zits just a very oily face :(. The creams says that is for "Absolute Trouble Feature Block Controlling Irritated Skin For the Blemish Skin". If you want to try it, you'll need a translucent powder that will help and Oil Absorbing sheets. Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream - I bought this BB Cream for the SPF 42 PA+++. The coverage is good (not as natural as BRTC though), easy to blend on the face, will still get my face oily but not so soon. The good thing about this cream is the higher spf and that it comes in two shades No. 21 for light beige and No. 23 for natural beige (I use No. 21). I didn't breakout so overall is a good bb cream. The only thing I don't like is the smell of baby (like J&J products for babies) but some people like that smell. I don't use a translucent powder for this cream since when I get oily my face looks cakey, just use oil absorbing sheets. Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream - this is the one I've been using the most right now since it is for oily skin (they have one for dry skin also - "#1 sheer silky skin" is for oily skin). I love it since my face barely get oily wich make the bb cream last longer on my face and I don't use any translucent powder. It has SPF 30 PA++ but I still use my sunscreen before I put this on. Of all 4, this offers the least natural coverage, this means you do look like you have makeup on. It is for fair skin not like BRTC that blends to your skin tone. It offers anti-wrinke and whitening but almost all bb creams do the same thing. Smells really good but it's very hard to remove the cream so I have to do double cleansing and eye makeup remover for the eye area. SkinFood Peach Sake BB Cream - I bought this bb cream because it says to minimize pores and control sebum but it didn't do anything that it promises. The coverage is barely none, my face got oily fast and my pores stayed the same :(. The cream is more yellow on the face than white, it has spf 20 and it smells really good (fruitty). I'm planning to use this if I'm going to the supermarket or any other errand like this were you don't need to look your best. The last BB Cream I'm planning to try is Skin79 but I'm under a budget so I'll have to wait :P
