A controlled experiment is when all the variables are kept the same, but one. I am a science teacher and I am very upset that someone is asking a computer what this answer is, as it may be one of my students. Please ask your teacher for help if you don't understand. If you don't understand. You'll never know the answer unless you ask the question. ;)
Hi, I am a student. This science teacher above this, I got to speak to her/him. Are you my science teacher, Mrs. Nunez?
The variable being tested is controlled.
A factor being measured in a controlled experiment is a variable that is deliberately changed or manipulated by the experimenter to see how it affects the outcome of the experiment. Factors are typically independent variables that are controlled to observe their impact on the dependent variable being measured.
The factor being tested is the dependent variable.

controlled experiment
A controlled experiment compares results through various methods. Some being a graph, an average, a diagram... etc.
because every aspect is controlled except the lid either being open or closed and this is neither changed through out the experiment.
The dependent variable varies due to effects of the factor being tested in a controlled experiment.
In a controlled experiment only 1 variable is being tested.

Controlled Variable
A control factor is one of the varriables that can be controlled in a science experiment. It is left as a constant without being changed.
