There is not much being done to help them besides reconstructing their habitatand raising money to put them in conservations like the ones in El Salvador, Catatumbo-Barí, El Cocuy National Park and Tamá National Park in Colombia, and Guatopo National Park inVenezuela where they take care of the monkeys till the have babies

Not enough,really.Although all apes enjoy some measure of protection,there are just not enough actual boots on the ground to prevent poachers and zoo collecters from doing damage.Loss of habitat is still a real concern.The gorilla species are in the most trouble,with populations of less than one thousand for the mountain gorilla,and less than two thousand for the lowland species.
