Gastropods: snails.
Gastro means something like 'stomach' or 'belly' and 'pod' means 'foot'.
Cephalopods: octopusi.
Cephalo means something like 'head'.
Bivalves are molluscs with two clasping shells like a clam and univalves have only one.
Bivalves, univalves, and cephalopods are all types of mollusks. So are gastropods.

Mollusca
Gastropods (such as slugs and snails) and bivalves (such as clams and mussels) are both invertebrate mollusks.
Clams are bivalves
gastropods include species like snails and slugs chephalopods include octopus and squid Bivalves are organisms like clams, mussles and oysters
Gastropods, or slugs and snails, as opposed to molluscs with two shells which are bivalves.
Neither. while its true that moon snails consist of only one shell, they are classified as gastropods and not bivalves. Bivalves are clams, mussels, scallops and oyster, all having 2 shells, while gastropods are snails.
Valve refers to a shell, so a bivalve possesses two shells, which are usually hinged together and more or less cover the animal (Class Bivalvia), while univalves have only one shell, and typically leave the muscular foot exposed, unless the animal is capable of withdrawing into its shell (Class Gastropoda).
There is no such animal as a "univalve", however "bivalves" are filter feeders and filter seawater through their gills to pick up trace amounts of food.
Some examples of univalves are snails and slugs.
no gastropods are snails and slugs, oysters are bivalves as are scallops, muscles, and clams
