What does the time traveler out of the novel by hg wells look like?

The character is only described as the Time Traveller, never in any detail. one assumes a serious, deep-minded, probably eyeglass-wearing scientist type- but he is never described in detail. Flash Notice- ever notice how most of the characters in the Bible are not described in detail, either- we have no idea what they looked like, other than a knowledge of sartorial and hair-styling customs of the Ancient Greeks, Romans, and Hebrews, and other nationalities mentioned in Scripture. There are alas, no Bertillion files ( like ID cards, fingerprints, etc) in the New Testament. the argument that Christ was six foot tall is at best, guesswork.

Why couldn't Samuel Adams ride a horse?

He may have had some neuro-muscular handicap of some sort. illustrations exist and he does not seem to be a handicapped man-no specs, crutches, eye patches or other visible disability marks.. I have never heard of this. it seems a bit like the Sunday School myth that Jesus Christ was six foot tall. there are no (Bertillion files) in the New Testament, period! there is no direct evidence as to hall tall He was anyhow. I would imagine the same for Mr. Adams. Maybe the Adams family used carriage horses as that was a more classier mode of transportation as opposed to (saddle mount) I had plenty of American history as a kid- maybe too much, and have never heard this anecdote. Okay Franklin wore glasses-and improved them-bifocals, but Adams, no handicap referent to my knowledge.
