Better to lose a 9k gold ring than a 18k one ! 18k is purer gold than 9k.
9K= 9 karats GF=Gold Filled ST=(possibly means sterling)
No. 24k is 'pure' gold.
Probably about a maximum of $20.00 and that's a RETAIL price. (the price YOU would buy it NEW for... not the price you could get for selling it for scrap or something like that). 9k gold filled material is what they used to use "back in the day" when costume jewelry started becoming very popular, the jewelry companies wanted to make a nice-looking piece of jewelry but gold was expensive as it is now, so gold plating, rolled-gold plated and gold filled jewelry started being manufactured. Unfortunately, in today's market it is of little to no value.
.925 is a marking for silver, not gold. Therefore what you most likely have is gold plated over sterling silver. Gold is marked 9K, 10K, 14K, 18K etc.
it means gold filled. a layer of real 9ct gold on top of a cheap metal ie copper
The short answer is no. Real 9K or more gold is not magnetic, nor is silver. If you find that ur ring or necklace is sticking to a magnet it is plated and is not real.
Hi anything with PL before or after 18 k or 9k is an indication that the item is gold plated with a thin layer of gold on top of a base metal or sometimes silver. Daniel
In United States Of Amirica Don't has value 9k of alloys soft gold !
Well, it is better to buy 18k pure solid color white gold,because cost more in karat and it is very good in durability, that low 9 Karat . If the 9k have Rhodium plated cost less money to! Wake up!
no such thing
10K is the minimum US standard and is 41.6% gold with other base metal. 9K is available in Europe and contains 37.5 % gold.
