Two completely different disciplines. It's up to you to decide which one works best for you. Computer science treats computing as an academic science, so expect to learn a lot of mathematics (in particular to calculus) and puzzle-solving. IT deals with the practical end of computing (at least in particular to business-use scenarios, and not in the general sense as computer engineering does). You will be expected to learn about computer software (e.g. an overview of operating systems, database management, and server software) and networking, and maybe a little bit of programming/scripting on the side.
If...you like studying and discussing new technologies and the impact they have on our world, ITGS is for you.
If, however, you enjoy programming a computer to do what you want it to do (or what the teacher wants it to do), computer scinece is the right choice.
That's the spark notes answer.
IT since it is given more preference then CS.
computer science
computer
electronics is the core computer science engineering hence it is better
It depends on your goals and interests. Computer science typically focuses more on programming, algorithms, and software development, while information science covers a broader range of topics including data management, information systems, and knowledge organization. Both fields have their own strengths and areas of application.

Bachelor of Computer Science is a type of bachelor's degree, usually awarded after three years of collegiate study in computer science. In general Computer Science degrees emphasize the mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing. A Bachelor of Computer Science degree is normally required in order to work in the field of software development. Both are better, and both are of 3 years. It just the name of degree, nothing much difference in which is better and not.
Generally, a computer science program that emphasizes mathematics will be more theoretically rigorous. A computer science program that does not emphasize mathematics will be more pragmatically rigorous. Which is better is the subject of much debate.
no , not yet . and it takes some time to recover. compare to computer science it is best to choose mechanical or civil or chemical
Computer engineers need creativity as well and mathematical ability.. There is no doubt that science student can do better in computer engineering but in fact management group and one with low science-score (performance) cn also be computer engineering!!
Yes it is
computer science
That depends on what you mean by a 'better job.' The earning potential in both fields is high, the main difference being that information technology is the application of computer technology to the workplace, whereas computer science is the study of computer systems and interfaces. Large corporations have high demands for information technology, and often pay well. Research in computer science is happening at both the institutional level and the private level, and private industry rewards computer scientists very well, in most cases, due to the extensive educations they must have. Mathematics is the basis for much of computer science, and advanced math classes are essential in advancing in computer science. So, if you desire to work with people, helping them to do their jobs, then information technology is what you would like. If you are interested in building better computers, or making the ones that we have work better, then you would enjoy computer science. Which do you think would be better?
