That depends on two things: 1) what the artist prefers, and 2) what the observers prefer. Both are constantly changing.
I personally like sketched drawings, because it is usually the raw, beautiful, untamed picture that is initially drawn by the artist, and it hosts a lot of emotion and natural beauty.
Clean drawings are very pretty to look at, and tend to be a little easier on the eyes. For me, however, they have a very talored look, and for me, it seems that much of the emotion of the artist has been lost in the erasing (or single-line drawing).

Jesse keeps his drawings under his mattress as a way to hide them from others, reflecting his insecurity about sharing his artistic expression. The drawings represent his innermost thoughts and feelings, and keeping them concealed allows him to maintain a sense of privacy and control over his personal creativity. This hiding spot symbolizes his struggle with vulnerability and the fear of judgment from those around him.
A:No, but there are photographs of the skeletons or partial skeletons of some early humans whose remains have been found in Africa. Some diagrams have been sketched, showing how they must have looked, based on those skeletal remains.
