Real Christmas trees are much better for the environment. They are grown on farms so there is no need to worry about saving the trees. Fake trees are made of plastic that is does not decompose.
Fake trees are better for the environment. Being able to reuse it for up to 20 years, not having to water them during growth or while cut and the fact that most of them end up on a burn pile far outweighs the manufacture and disposal once in 20 years.
I prefer a real tree because you have fun getting it and you feel more excited from like the ever green smell or the prickliness in some cases
Fake, its less work , real is a fire hazard.
I would say a fake tree causes more damage as it has to be manufactured.
Well, fake trees can be reused every year, but real trees are thrown out after every year. I hate to admit this, because we get a real tree every year, and i just think getting a real tree is way better than getting a fake one, for Christmas time
All my life i have had a fake tree! untile years ago i started getting real trees and to be honest it is alot better than fake trees. this is because the smell of a real tree, and it is alot more pretty, also you dont have the hassle of taking a tree up and down you can just burn or throw the tree in the woods!
Fake christmas trees are bad for the environment for a number of reason like the fact that they take away from the community economy because only larger corporations sell fake trees. Also fake trees do not have the fresh smell of a good old fashioned tree and are not bio degradeble as they claim to be. And last fake trees just show lazyness and are making families grow further apart around christmas time.
Real tree
A real Christmas tree is better because it is far more biodegradable and sticks carbon dioxide back into the ground instead of just letting it out into the environment. (Not that fake Christmas trees puff out clouds of carbon dioxide though)
Fakes trees are used for a variety of reasons. Artificial Christmas trees are used if someone in the family is allergic to the real tree. Fake trees are used for decoration in an environment that would not be conducive for growing live plants.
Real trees are better. But if you have a fake tree and you make it look real and decorate it very nice then they would be equal. If your fake tree looks fake then real ones are better.
It depends on how many times you use the fake tree.
Studies indicate that fake trees must be used for over 20 years to be equivalent the environmental impact of buying an annual real tree. There is also the problem with older trees emitting metals and organic to the house. On disposal real trees are frequently chipped to make mulch for garden use. Imitation trees are customarily landfilled.
I don't think fake Christmas trees are good at all, I use a natural one -Tiger
i get a real tree not a fake tree because fake trees are stupid and real ones symbolize the true meaning of Christmas
One can purchase a fake holiday tree for Christmas from the following stores; The daily green, The home depot, Target Christmas trees, and Tree classics.
Artificial Christmas trees are made by first starting with a steel skeleton and then workers build it in sections and bake them to set the coating . Then they put the pieces together and shred green PVC plastic to look like fringe and then finish constructing the artificial tree.
Pine Trees or just fake Christmas trees you buy from the store.
Maybe if someone in your family was allergic to trees or your least likely to start a fire in your house.
Both. Just like everyone else. Fake trees are a lot more economical, since they don't need to be chopped down, they wont end up filling the landfill after Christmas and they can be saved year after year.
