Electronic media is easy to edit. Books can easily get altered, also, if a popular book is to be altered, it would've spread false information. As the book itself (already bought and brought to its destination) cannot be edited, the altered version would still be used by people not informed by newer information. Though, by electronic media, the altered information would probably be deleted, and we, in for example 200 years, could not look back at altered information (which is useful in some context).
This is basically for books containing information, such as a lexicon for example. For books that contain literary content, a book would be better. Reports show that people tend to skim through text when they read on the screen, which easily makes you forget what you just read, in other words, the book gets a bad expression. By reading screen text you also damage your eyes (over a long time of period of course).
Both books and technology have their own unique benefits. Books offer a tangible and immersive reading experience, while technology provides quick access to a vast amount of information. The choice between the two depends on personal preferences and the specific needs of the individual.
Books are a less advanced type of technology.
If you are comparing books and electronics, though, it depends what you want to use them for. Books can be more comfortable to use, while more advanced technology can be more convenient or efficient. If I want to read something while lying down on my bed, something I can quickly look through pages of or find information in, I'd use a book. If I wanted a large amount of novels conveniently with me when I travel, all stored in a small interface, I'd use a Kindle or nook.

As technology changes your mind thinks better and better.
Just got my new Kobo touch. Personally i think that E books sort of ruin the magic of a real Paperback/Hardcover book. Most people go for it because it will probably save you alot of money. There's something about original books that the technology of an eBook doesn't have. But maybe that's just me, I think that e books will over come these "books" with it being cheaper and all. BTW i think you meant "Are e-books going to be better then books?
That depends on the kind of technology. Just like how certain people are better than sports than others, some countries are better at technology than others.
