Depends on who you are asking. Some prefer Red Faction over Cause 2 because it has more features, others prefer Cause 2 because it maybe simpler.

No, each faction asks for your help to take over three strongholds each, there is no way to take over all 9 for one faction, the takeovers are fixed parts in each of the three faction mission chains.

Once you have taken over a settlement for your faction, it's yours to keep. Faction soldiers and vehicles will appear there once it has been taken over.
To answer a faction invite just do /f join <faction name>
If you are in a faction, and want to teleport to your faction home, just type /f home.
Only military and faction vehicles can have weapons. Civilian vehicles are not seen with weapons.

yes just cause 2 is better than infamous. i have both of those games for ps3. infamous is a very good game but just cause 2 is still better.
