If you are going to get Skullcandy headphones i recommend going with the over the ear headphones. The skullcrushers have mini subwoofers in each headphone so they have a killer bass.

The ear buds aren't the problem, its the volume. They have the potential to hurt your ears permanently because they don't allow sound waves to escape, but that is also their advantage (they block out noise). Keep the volume just loud enough to hear it, excess is bad.

sennheiser definetely. better warranty than shure, amazing sound quality. cant go wrong. i prefer skullcandy though. take a look at the skullcandy hesh on skullcandy.com you CAN'T beat the skullcandy warranty.
