That depends on what you consider better.
Forged alliance has more units, while 2 has different technology tree. personally i find forged alliance more fun to play.
Supreme Commander Forged Alliance is an RTS game and Hamichi is a program which allows computers to emulate LAN connections between each other. Guides on how to set the two up together can be found online.
If you haven't already found out, Supreme Commander is strictly a windows game. (unless you have a windows Mac mix)
You can't unless you modify your game to be able to do so
no because thats not aloud in the sims 2
in the build option panel, check the top left , there should be a circle , click on it and you will have the option of building experimental units.
you press alt + f2 and choose which unit you want to build. Then in the bottom left box type how many you want of that unit then press create. ps.remember to turn cheating mode on
You need to click on your building and then press the delete button on your keyboard. On a normal computer it is above the arrow keys but on a laptop it is in the top left-hand corner.

Supreme Commander should have no particular problems running on Windows XP Professional. I have had it running on the same for 4 months with no OS-related problems. The game does require a lot from the system hardware. A fairly recent processor (I have a low-end dual-core Intel) and 1 or 2 Gb of RAM are a must. I'm not sure how critical the video card is. I have a GeForce 7600GT with 256Mb of video RAM and that seems to work fine at fairly high quality settings. Before launch, they were touting it as having extra DirectX 10 goodies built into it for those with Vista and a DirectX 10 capable card. However, they did not end up incorporating that into the released copy. Perhaps the upcoming expansion/sequel called "Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance" (November 2007) will incorporate Direct X 10 features. If so, those will only be available to those who are running Microsoft Vista as XP does not offer Direct X 10 support. But the current Supreme Commander presents no limitations for those running XP Home or Professional. If anything, it probably works better in light of Vista's higher overhead hogging system resources.
