The iPhone 4 is the better option for many different reasons. The one that people see right away is of course the looks. Also iPhone 4 is a little bit thinner then the 3 version. Another difference is the camera function. With the older version the mega pixels are 3 where as the 4 has 5 and if you get the 4S you have 8mega pixels. Those are just some examples as to why the iPhone 4 is better the list goes on and on.
