I believe that the gulf of Maine is a little bit bigger than the Gulf of Mexico because the gulf of maine has many basins, banks, and shelfs in it which expands the size.
The Gulf of Mexico is bigger
a gulf *example: the Gulf of Mexico
It is a place name that could just as easily be called the Gulf of Florida, or the Gulf of Cuba (which separates it from the Caribbean Sea). It happened to be named for the western shore, which includes Yucatan and Texas (once part of Mexico). The SW corner, west of Yucatan, is called the Bay of Campeche (sometimes more specifically applied to the Yucatan side of the Gulf of Campeche).
The Gulf of Mexico, considered one of the biggest in the world in terms of area.
it depends which one is bigger if i can find the answer.there was a question but had the stupidest answer for it...and this was the answer:there is no gulf named Witch. And there is no such gulf of Alaskaor
Oceans lie between continents. A gulf is a body of water that is partially surrounded by land and connected to a larger body through one or more straits. The Gulf of Mexico is partially enclosed by the North American Continent. Another difference: The deepest point in the Gulf of Mexico is about 14,000 feet--the deepest point in the Atlantic ocean is about twice that depth.
Every year at least one hurricane reaches the Gulf of Mexico.
one is the gulf of Mexico and gulf of California
It is neither: it is a Gulf, however a pretty large one.
I am not sure about all of them. One is the Gulf of Mexico. Another one is Gulf of Alaska. And Gulf of California.
No one. It is international waters.
Only one: Texas
