Book banning can be when you aren't allowed to read a book or someone says a certain group of people can't read certain books. Such as when you go into an elementary library, you won't find a book that has content like sex. Other wise, for those grade levels the book is 'inappropriate' so it is banned. Censorship is when someone removes, replaces, or blocks all the content from a book or publication that they deem inappropriate or offensive (such as bleeping out a profane word in a sitcom or putting a black bar on a girl's naked breasts in a movie.)
