Try changing the fuel pump relay....
It is located behind the ashtray. You have to remove the ashtray and you will see a bunch of relays in there. you can then pull that tray out to access the relays easier.
After you remove the ashtry, pull the cover of the lighter, remove two Philips screws and remove the box above the ashtray.
the relay will be the one on the second row,far left side.
Running the engine with a cylinder missing, is a common thing. Many times a vehicle has a bad plug, wire or coil thus causing a miss. It will not kill an engine, but fuel mileage will suffer as will drivability and performance. You may also damage the catalytic converter.
No, heat does not reduce the pressure in a cylinder of an engine. In fact, heat typically increases pressure by causing gases to expand. The pressure in an engine cylinder is primarily determined by the combustion process and the movement of the piston.
1999 Toyota camery 4 cyl leaks oil when engine running
The issue here sounds like it's the master cylinder failing. It is not retaining pressure when the engine is running. The reason they feel fine when the engine is not running is because the failing master cylinder is not getting power, and in essence is being bypassed.
Operating temperature with a good thermostat will be between 180 and 200 degrees. The ideal running temperature on a 6 cylinder engine is about 196 degrees Fahrenheit.
Get behind the exterior of the car and look, if there's a "V6" stamping at the near bottom right of the trunk lid, it's running on the 3.0 liter 6 cylinder engine (Engine model: 1MZ-FE). If not, it should be running on the standard 2.2 liter 4 cylinder engine (Engine model: 5S-FE).

If it is causing the cylinder to misfire, yes.
slave cylinder failed?
A spark plug is used to ignite the fuel/air mixture inside the cylinder of an internal combustion engine. If the spark plug isn't working, the cylinder won't fire. In a multi-cylinder engine, this will result in rough running and loss of power. In a small, single cylinder engine, this will result in the inability to start the engine.
By creating a spark it ignites the fuel in an engine which explodes causing the cylinder to move.
If the check engine light is flashing on and off with the engine running , that means that an engine cylinder misfire has been detected
