Chapter five of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is called Diagon Alley.
Rubeus Hagrid takes Harry to the wizarding high street Diagon Alley in order to purchase his school items. They go to Gringotts, where Harry discovers a small fortune left to him by his parents, and watches Hagrid take a mysterious package from another vault. Harry meets Draco Malfoy when being fitted for robes and learns that some wizards think muggle-born witches and wizards should not be allowed to enter Hogwarts. Harry expresses his concern at not knowing anything about the world, but Hagrid reassures him that he will be fine. Harry gets his wand, which shares a core with Voldemort, and Hagrid gifts him an owl for his birthday.
