Mold on bread is a chemical change. There are actually two chemical changes going on here. Mold, a living organism, is consuming the sugar, water and minerals in the bread. Also, the bread is decomposing. These changes are irreversible, they release smelly gases, and they produce a small amount of heat. So yes, mold on bread IS a chemical change. (:
there are different equations for this question. this one was already there: glucose + oxygen another equation that I found out is: mould spores + food source + moisture = mould (eventual mold)
Technically yes; but everything is chemical in some way. Actually it's more like the germs and bacteria in the environment around and in the bread growing to toxic and visible proportions on it. This has to do with both the temperature of the bread - if it is kept appropriately cold or hot, then germs/bacteria are unable to thrive in it - and how long a time period the germs/bacteria have to accumulate. Nothing in the world is germ/bacteria free, but most substances have a low enough level of germs/bacteria that our immune systems can diffuse them without problem. It's only when we are careless with our food/drinks that too much of it builds up and can potentially make us sick.
There is no one formula for mold, as it is living.
Because mold can modify chemically some components of bread.
Yes it's a chemical
Yes it is
obviously
slicing bread is considered a physical change because the bread is still bread after it is sliced. A chemical change for bread is the ingredients mix together to make bread
It is a chemical change because some compounds from bread are thermally decomposed.
Physical
Cutting bread is a mechanical or physical change, not a chemical change.
Physical
slicing bread is considered a physical change because the bread is still bread after it is sliced. A chemical change for bread is the ingredients mix together to make bread
Slicing bread is a physical change because it does not change the chemical composition of the bread.
It is a chemical change because you can not return it to bread
Bread going moldy is a chemical change
It is a chemical change because some compounds from bread are thermally decomposed.
you be happy
Bread is not a change. It is a mixture of substances that can undergo physical and chemical changes.
Its a chemical change because its changing what it is (from dough to bread)
It is chemical change

It is a chemical change.
