Rabbit, buffalo and camel are also used. Some people spin pet fur (dog and cat), though it usually has to be blended with some wool because of the short length of the individual hairs. Spun dog fur is called "chiengora." Recently New Zealand has started harvesting Bushtail Opossums, which are considered a pest there, for fur which is spun into yarn.
