The theory of a simple pendulum refers to a relatively huge object hanging vertically by a string from a fixed place and moving in a back and forth motion when displaced. The movement of the huge object or pendulum bob is repetitive and regular.
A simple pendulum consist of a bob suspended from the end of a lightweight cord. The cord cannot stretch and the mass of the cord must be small compared to the mass of the bob. With negligible friction, the motion resembles SHM.
A pendulum measures the ratio between time and gravity. The length between the fulcrum and the center of weight on the end is the part of the pendulum that matters even though the actual pendulum is is longer. Longer pendulums take longer to complete a cycle than shorter pendulums. A child's swing is a long pendulum. Take a string a few inches long, attach a weight to the end, and compare its swing to how it takes a child on a swing to go through one cycle. A grandfather clock has a pendulum with a period of about one second. The length of the pendulum is set at the factory for the average point in the United States. Gravity meters exist. If your Grandfather clock gains or loses time, You can reset the length of the pendulum as determined by a gravity meter. Once you know the gravity and the ratio, you can get the time. For further information concerning the relationship between gravity and time, read Einstein's Theory of Relativity.

A mass suspended on a string that is allowed to swing freely. Not necessarily a string - the swinging thing on a grandfather clock is a pendulum too.
2pi L/g

No!
It is 2*pi*sqrt(L/g)
Simple pendulum
scientific law is unlike a scientific theory in a sense that its the next step above a scientific theory.A scientific law is one that has been proven, a scientific theory has not been proven yet.
By not doing nothing
A scientific law states a pattern found in nature and a scientific theory explains that pattern
A scientific theory is a theory that explains the scientist's observations, whereas a scientific law is a repeated pattern in the world that we have not sought an explanation for. Also, a scientific theory is proven correct in this time, but may not be correct during future times.
A scientific law is the description of a recurring event that occurs in nature. A scientific theory is an explanation of the law. The law does not change, but the theory may change when new data indicate that it needs to.
A scientific theory is an explanation of some natural phenomenon. A scientific law is a succinct statement of some aspect of a scientific theory.

No scientific theory ever challenged the theory of evolution.
Between Scientific Theory and what?
Scientific observations and experimental results are required for a theory to be scientific.
Rotation, harmonic motion, and force.
A scientific theory is an explanation of how the world works answered by the scientific method.
That would depend on the scientific theory in question.

The scientific study of theory is the generalization or abstract thinking.
Scientific theory is two words.
