Secondary consumers are organisms that feed on primary consumers (herbivores) in a food chain. They are carnivores or omnivores that obtain their energy by eating other animals. Examples include snakes, birds of prey, and some fish.
Im guessing you mean the difference between producers and consumers. Producers make a product or give a service, and consumers purchase, a service or product.
It could mean the geological spread of coal seams in the ground. Or it could mean the process of getting the coal from the mines to the consumers.
If by "consumer", you mean something that consumes energy from the energy cycle, then yes.
