I'm thinking you must mean the cost of an emergency room visit. If this is the case, the cost is going to depend upon many things. Some of these things include 1) what you are seen for (ear ache, chest pain, etc.) because the more things that need to be done for you make the visit more expensive. 2) what supplies are used on you during the visit. Even a bandaid is going to cost you! 3) What tests are done. A vist for something as simple as a sore throat or ear ache can cost $200. I've seen visits cost over $5000 for someone with a life threatening problem. An emergency visit can be quite costly so if you have a problem that can be taken care of by your regular doctor (the doctor you go to for shots and checkups) it may benefit you financially to do so.
I went into Fawcett Memorial, Punta Gorda, Fl. with a painful hip joint on or about 4/1/11,told the P.A. I would like tohave a shot of cortisone in hip joint. After 1 1/2 hr wait for M.D., I explained my dilemma and a shot of cortisone would take care of my pain. He agreed, no blood work, no x rays, mri's taken, nothing but B.P. and temp, THAT IS ALL!! When I got back to my home up north 3 weeks later I got a bill from Fawcett for $2,700 .00 for E.R. visit and $1,200.00 for shot of cortisone. Again there was no other procedure NONE!!!!! Fortunately I have medicare and supplemental insurance. WE ASK 'Why does my insurance cost so much"?? This is nothing more than profiteering at the expense of us all, just one incident that we
cannot stand still for!!
depends on the hospital and country. it is cheaper to go to an urgent care ,or a "doc in the box" however most hospitals have a charity fund and can waive all or some of the cost of the visit -talk to billing or social services. the cost also depends on what was done how long a patient was there and so on.
The ER will only give information about a visit if you give permission. Your dr may ask you to sign a release to get any records from the ER if it is important to your care.
What is the average cost for seven stitches on finger in ER?
I don't know but you can negotiate with the hospital. Billed charges can be twice as much as the amounts insurance companies negotiate. If you have a choice (e.g. you need stitches and not appendectomy), consider going to Urgent Care or Immediate Care facilities. They are typically cheaper than ER, in the range of $100 to $200 for a visit. You avoid upfront charges by going to the ER because they have to take you. However, they will bill you for the visit and try to collect.

The cost to visit Cantigny Park can vary. Typically, the cost to visit Cantigny is very inexpensive as it only costs roughly five dollars per vehicle to park and visit.
Some emergency rooms charge a minimum flat rate for the visit. The ultimate charge depends upon the services provided. Naturally, the hospital, where it is located, the type of care provider involved (such as an RN vs. a physician) all figure into the cost. There is no "usual" due to the variables involved, regardless of the reason for the visit.
A visit and cleaning in the United States would currently cost about $85.
A basic watch will cost you about $349.

yes, they do because of their universal healthcare system... all the way to the point where an ER visit may cost about 5-10 u.s dollars, uncovered. They have large, modern hospital buildings with trained profesionals.
