Cumberlandite is mostly Olivine (Magnesium Iron Silicate, also called Chrysolite or Peridot in gemstone form) set in a matrix composed of Magnetite (Fe3O4), Ilmenite (FeTiO3), Labrodorite ([Ca.Na][Al.Si]4O3) and Spinel (MgAl2O4). This igneous rock is found almost exclusively on Rhode Island and is strongly magnetic, due to the high proportion of magnetite. It is rich in Iron and Titanium.
