This is stipulated % of deposits that the bank has to maintain in Cash with RBI.

there is no minimum limit of CRR in India but the maximum limit is 15%

present CRR is 5.50%..it has decreased from 6% (according to 2012 data)....earlier it was 6% in 2011....
