Density is the measure of how much mass is in a particular volume of a material, measured in g/cm3. Density is a measurement of how much "stuff" is in a defined space
Mathematically, Density is the mass of an object in kilograms divided by its volume in metres.
To measure the density of an object youd have to first use any device that measures Mass (scales, mass spectrometers or deducing from gravity depending on whether your object is atom sized, planet sized or... say... human sized)
then divide the number of kilograms by its volume which can be found most simply (for small objects) by measuring the amount of water it displaces. alternatively there are many derived mathematical formula to determine volume, such as (4/3 x pi x radius2) which gives the volume of a sphere.
density = mass / volume is how you calculate it.

Percent yield = (actual yield/expected yield) x 100
Its density. Density is mass per unit volume.
This is the determination of the specific density (the ratio liquid density/water density).
what is the density of acrylic? what is the density of acrylic?
