responding variable<-------|
the persond who wrote this | that is a terribal answer (*No offence*) but we need you to explain
^^ I'll improve. the Dependent is something that changes on its own during an experiment. the independent is something that changes by someone else changing it!
E.G: if u were finding out the energy in crisps the dependent variable would be the temperature, and the independent would be the crisp! there you go, i once needed this answer as well! :D
The outcome is the dependent variable in science experiments.
It means that they are not supposed to be together.
Dependent variable or what is being measured or observed by YOU.
Science Answer: The Dependent Variable is the Variable that changes automatically during the experiment when the Independent Variable is changed by somebody. :D
a dependent variable is when you dont change throughout the whole experiment.
You may be asking about dependent variables, as in a lab activity. There are also independent variables. The independent variable is the thing that is controlled or kept monitored by the scientist. The dependent variable is what occurs or changes as a result of the independent variable.
Dependent variable is the variable that can be measured. However, the independent variable is the variable that changes in the two groups.
You could say, "Today in our science experiment we had to figure out what the dependent variable was"
The dependent variable is the effect of an independent variable. For example, if a science experiment is done with plant growth under a certain amount of light, the height of the plant is the dependent variable because it depends on the amount of light.

independent and dependent
controlled variable, dependent variable and independent variable
