Ether
Even after the null result of the Michelson-Morley experimient the existence of luminerferous ether continued to be taken for granted by expert consensus until the 1905 publication of Einstein's theory of Special Relativity. Special Relativity did not disprove the existence of the ether (scientific proof is, in principle, not possible). What it did do was show that the ether was not necessary to explain any known property of nature. Being redundant and lacking utility the ether was therefore gradually dropped as a topic of study and discussion.
Ether
Ether 'This line is filled with ether gas, so if you have ever broken or cut one and get a funny smell or some white fluid on you, don't worry, it is not harmful'.
Yes, it is very much soluble in Hexane, diethyl ether, Petroleum spirit etc
ibuprofen is soluble in diethyl ether
YES
Yes but only slightly, but quite often not even one drop will dissolve. It easily dissolves in H2SO4, ethanol, ethyl acetate, diethyl ether, dochloromethane and hexane.
No, Petroleum ether is a mixture of aliphatic alkanes e.g. pentane, hexane etc but hexanes is pure hexane.
Lipids are soluble in Bloor's regent (Ethanol and Diethyl ether in 1:2 molar ratio).
CH3CH2CH2C(CH3)2CH3 is 2,2-dimethylpentane
Diethyl ether is more commonly known as just ether. The density of diethyl ether is 0.7134 grams per cubic centimeter.
No.. Ethyl acetate is C2H5COOCH3 and Diethyl ether is C2H5OC2H5
ethyl alcohol,ethyl acetate,diethyl ether,chloroform and hexane.
