hi, actually non-continuous signals is one of a characteristics which define a Digital Signal.
#non-continuous means having a finite or countably infinite number of values, which is exactly a defining property of a digital signal. therefor its not right (wrong) to ask the difference between the two.
hope it help. :)

Whats the difference between analog and digital signal?

Analog signals are continuous while digital signals are discrete

What is the basic difference between analog and digital system?

analog signals are continuous but digital signals are discreet. Digital signals have only binary value like zero(off state) or one(on state).

Why is there less interference with digital signals than analog signals?

Analog signals require higher fidelity than digital signals because digital are either on or off while analog are continuous. A small difference in an analog signal is not detectable while it requires a large difference to turn on into off (digital signal). Error correction is easier with digital signals.

The device that reconciles the difference between computers and phones is the a.TcpIp b.LAN c.Wand reader d.Modem?

d. Modem It modulates digital signals to analogue signals and demodulates analogue signals back to digital signals.

What is the difference between a digital box and a digital adapter?

The digital box processes digital-quality signals, with this you have access to on screen channel guides. A digital adapter provides digital-quality signals, with this you cannot access on screen channel guides.

Difference between analog and digital control systems?

An analog control system is one that presents data by measuring a continuous variable. This reports the data back in voltage or pressure.

What is difference between discrete and digital?

THE TERM CONTINUOUS SIGNAL AND DISCRETE SIGNAL CLASSIFY THE SIGNALS ALONG THE TIME (i.e. horizontal axis) where as THE TERM ANALOG AND DIGITAL SIGNAL CLASSIFY THE SIGNAL ALONG THE AMPLITUDE (i.e vertical axis) we often confuse our-self with continuous time and analog signals. An analog signal is a signal which can take any amplitude in continuous range that is signal amplitude can take infinite values on the other hand a digital signal is one whose amplitude can take only finite numbers of values

Why do digital signal require timing signals?

To measure time between digital signals.

What are the two basic kinds of electronic signals?

The two basic kinds of electronic signals are analog signals and digital signals. Analog signals are continuous and can take on any value within a given range, while digital signals are discrete and represent information as a series of binary values (0s and 1s).

What is the difference between digital and analogs?

In chemistry, analog is a compound with a molecular structure closely similar to another. Analog is also relating to or using signals or info represented by a continuously variable physical quantity such as spatial position or voltage. Analog is often contrasted (opposite) of DIGITAL --like a clock showing the time represented by "hands" instead of being Displayed DIGITS.

What is the transfer of digital or analog data using digital or analog signals?

The transfer of digital or analog data using digital or analog signals refers to the process of transmitting information from one device to another, either through digital signals or analog signals. Digital signals are electronic signals that represent binary data, while analog signals are continuous signals that represent continuous data. The method of transfer depends on the type of data being transmitted and the technology being used for the transfer. For example, digital data can be transferred using digital signals through a computer network, while analog data can be transferred using analog signals through a telephone line. Regardless of the method used, the goal of the transfer is to accurately transmit the information from one location to another.

What is digital simulation?

Analog system simulation is more sensitive to the changes in the parameters compared to the digital system. This is because of the continuous nature of the analog signals, unlike the discreet nature of the digital signals. Digital systems have gates which can not be used in Analog system.
