Expository nonfiction is informational text. Narrative nonfiction is written like a narrative--think biographies.
Expository nonfiction focuses on presenting information and supporting facts, often using a more formal and objective tone. It aims to educate and inform readers about a particular topic. Narrative nonfiction, on the other hand, tells a true story using literary techniques to engage readers. It often includes elements of storytelling such as characters, setting, and plot to make the information more relatable and engaging.
