Validity would be considered as a normal or regular parameter derived from conceivable data, whereas truth would be considered an average derived from calculated data. If I were to say that I do not trust eating chicken the day after it was cooked, despite the precautions I can take to avoid complications, my reasons would be valid if I had previous bad experiences. If I were to say that the chances of me getting food poisoning were none based on the calculations taken to avoid it, my reason would be truth derived from proven recorded information.

Why is logic so important?

logic is important because it give us the clarification about what we said and what others are saying. It help us to make right argument in front of people. logic help us to think coherently and to differentiate between truth and validity there is no possibility that might contradict 2+2=4 it can never be 5.

What is the difference between predicate and propositional logic?

in propositional logic a complete sentence can be presented as an atomic proposition. and complex sentences can be created using AND, OR, and other operators.....these propositions has only true of false values and we can use truth tables to define them... like book is on the table....this is a single proposition... in predicate logic there are objects, properties, functions (relations) are involved.
