What is different between Islam and Arab?

Islam is the monotheistic religion revealed through the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him by God, Allah. A person who submits his will to the faith of Islam is a Muslim but, an Arab is a person of the Arabian Peninsula.

Islamic refers to something of the religion of Islam;

Muslim is a follower of the Islamic religion;

Arab is an ethnic group of the Middle East.

Muslim: A person who follows Islam (i.e. the same way that a Christian is a person who follows Christianity)
Arab: An ethnicity pertaining to the peoples of the Middle East and North Africa who speak Arabic as a first language and generally have a swarthy skin-color.

Around 90% of Arabs are Muslims, but only 20% of Muslims are Arabs.
