Starting in 2003 the design began changing with different designs in 2004, 2005 and finally the current design was created in 2006.
Actually it's the other way around. Nickels made from 1866 to early 1883 were 20.5 mm in diameter. All nickels made since that time are 21.2 mm in diameter.
$3.10 could be no quarters and 62 nickels, or it could be 12 quarters and 2 nickels, or it could be eleven other different mixes. There are 13 different ways to do it with quarters and nickels.
75% copper, 25% nickel. This content has been the same since the coin was introduced in 1866 (except during WWII, when nickels contained 35% silver).
Fifteen pennies, ten pennies and a nickel, five pennies and two nickels, five pennies and a dime, three nickels, one nickels and a dime
Oh, dude, like, you can make 30 cents using nickels, dimes, and quarters in, like, 5 different ways. You can do it with 6 nickels, 3 dimes, or 1 quarter and 1 nickel, or 2 dimes and 2 nickels, or 1 dime and 4 nickels. So, yeah, there are, like, 5 ways to make that sweet 30 cents.
You have to mostly think about it
They sound different because they are different sizes and made of different metals.
Yes, in the 1970s pennies were made of 95% copper while in the 1990s they were made of about 97% zinc.
it is different from todays becasue we had food. lol dont copy these omg.
To make 60c, you can have no more than 2 quarters, because if you had 3 quarters that would make 75c, which is too much. So, you could make 60c with no quarters and some nickels, 1 quarter and some nickels, or 2 quarters and some nickels. If you have no quarters, you would need 12 nickels (12 x 5 = 60) if you had 1 quarter, you would need 7 nickels (7 x 5 = 35, 35 + 25 = 60) If you had 2 quarters, you would need 2 nickels (2 x 5 = 10, 25 x 2 = 50, 10 + 50 = 60) So, if you have to make 60c using quarters AND nickels, there are two different ways to do it: 1 quarter + 7 nickels 2 quarters + 2 nickels
The monetary value of twenty nickels is exactly the same as 1 dollar. The masses, especially if the dollar is paper, are very different.
Three different ways.
