I reckon you mean Fiji. The time difference is, for roughly 10 months each year, 11 hours. However, they do switch back from and back to daylight saving time at different dates, meaning that it's not always 11 hours. It is 11 hours later in Fiji than in the UK. It is 8AM in the UK as I am writing this, meaning it is 7PM (and the same date) in Fiji.
In the past, Fiji uses the British law and system not until 1970 when Fiji got Independant.

No. Currently Fiji is governed by a care-taker interim military based government. It is now called The Republic of the Fiji Islands starting from the point when the President of Fiji abrogate and wipe the 1997 Fiji Constitution out. The PER- Public Emergency Regulation keeps people away and to stop them practising their freedom of assembly, speech and communication. Fiji is a Republic not a Democratic country.

Fiji is actually a multi racial society with people of all different religions free to practice their own publicly. There is not one religion alone in Fiji and no religion dominates the other.
