DMAS is an algorithm to solve a basic mathematics problem...
DMAS stands for:
D: Divide
M: Multiply
A: Addition
S: Subtraction
In order to solve a problem we have to follow this order..
Eg.
2 + 3 / 9 * 4 - 3
here we will multiply first...
2 + 3 / 36 - 3
then divide
2+12 - 3
then add
14-3
then subtract
11
So your final answer becomes 11...

PEMDAS parenthesis, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction. if i asked you 2 + 3 * 6, you MUST multiply 3 * 6 first, because it comes before addition in the PEMDAS 2 + 3 * 6 = 20, 2 + 3 * 6 does not = 30. another example: (5 + 2) * 2 + 5 = (7) * 2 + 5 = 14 + 5 = 19 hope this helped!
I've never found an answer other than only through Nielsen. DMAs cross zip code and county lines I think so there is overlap.
BODMAS would say that addition is before subtraction. There is a main code "DMAS", which prove that: D:Divide M:Multiplication A:Addition S:Subtraction It proves that Addition is before Subtraction. HOPE U LIKE THAT:)
On a motherboard or peripheral card jumpers and switch banks are used for configuring various parameters on the circuit board. For instance, older peripheral cards needed to be told at what address, IRQ and DMA that they needed to be. The reason for this was because other cards that they already installed might already be using those resources. You cannot have multiple devices at the same address. On rare occasions, things could share IRQs or DMAs, but never at the same time. So you had the option to change the addresses and other resources used by the device so there would be no conflicts between the devices.Older motherboards had to be configured as to what bus speed and CPU multiplier to use, so jumpers and switches served this purpose. Newer boards tend to get that information directly from the CPU or they get it from the CMOS.Jumpers can also be used as bypasses, such as allowing the speaker socket on the back to work when the front panel socket wires are not attached. So if you don't attach the wires, you leave the jumpers in the speak header in place.
Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) Is a U.S. Government classification for a free-standing urban population center with a population in the urban center of at least 50,000 and a total MSA population of 100,000 or more. Buyers in MSAs typically exhibit social and economic homogeneity. MSAs usually border on non-urbanized counties. Peoria, Illinois, and Sheboygan, Wisconsin, are examples. Designated Market Area (DMA) Is a geographic area defined by nielsen media research company as a group of counties that make up a particular television market. These counties comprise the major viewing audience for the television stations located in their particular metropolitan area. For the most part, the metropolitan areas correspond to the standard metropolitan statistical areas (see metro area) defined by the Federal Government Office of Management and Budget. The areas do not overlap, and every county in the United States belongs to only one DMA. dmas are used in the evaluation of audience data as well as in the planning and buying of media.
BODMAS = Brackets, Of, Divide, Multiply, [Add and Subtract]BODMAS = Brackets, Order, Divide, Multiply, [Add and Subtract]BODMAS = Brackets, Other, Divide, Multiply, [Add and Subtract]BIDMAS = Brackets, Index, Divide, Multiply, [Add and Subtract]I have bracketed Add and Subtract as when they are found together, they are done in the order they are found: from left to right.eg 1 + 2 - 3 is (1 + 2) - 3 and NOT 1 + (2 - 3) as the mnemonic would suggest. With Divide and Multiply, they can be done either left to right, or by doing the divide first, and the correct answer will be found, eg:2 x 6 ÷ 3 = (2 x 6) ÷ 3 = 2 x (6 ÷ 3)Note:6 ÷ 3 x 2 = (6 ÷ 3) x 2 ≠ 6 ÷ (3 x 2)But the last possibility would not be attempted as 'left to right' and 'divide first' are the same calculation (doing the division); showing that following strict 'DM' of BODMAS always works. My own creation: to get the sum correct, you will be under the watchful eye of the Bod Tsar:BODTSAR = Brackets, Of/Order/Other, Divide, Times, Subtract, Add (in order to get the) Result.Which fixes the slight imperfection that the B*DMAS don't show that the pairs of operations Divide & Multiply, and Subtract & Add have the same priority and are done in left to right order. However, if you always Divide before Multiplying (Timesing) and Subtract before Adding in those pairs, you will get the correct result, hence my mnemonic
With DISH Network the channel that NBC can be found on, would be dependent upon where you are located (ex- your state & zip code,) this is because NBC is considered a local affiliate & therefore will be found on one of your local channel numbers.
