What is earth's source of gravity?

It is really difficult to ascertain what the source of gravity is. It cannot be the rotation or the revolution around the sun because the moon also does the same around the earth and its axis yet is one-sixth

the gravitational acceleration. Though the earth's profile (geoid)

is shaped by the effect of gravity, gravitational acceleration does not have the same magnitude over the earth's atmosphere. One thing we know for sure is that the gravitational force is directed towards the earth's centre and at the earth's centre is the core. This is the source of the magnetic field that repels solar dust and with more research we might be able to fully understand gravity.
