What is easier French or Hindi for a seventh grader who studied Hindi for 9 years but thinks French is easier?

French is not really difficult to understand for people speaking an European language, especially Spanish or Italian which share the same Latin origin, or even for English-speaking people. That said, taking a language from scratch is always challenging. If you have no knowledge of French, and are already mastering (or have a good understanding) of Hindi, I would regard Hindi as easier.
