Christmas Goose
In Armenia, the traditional Christmas Eve meal consists of fried fish, lettuce, and spinach. The meal is traditionally eaten after the Christmas Eve service, in commemoration of the supper eaten by Mary on the evening before Christ's birth.
Since it is summer in Argentina on Christmas day, the meal is often served in the garden or may be a barbecue. Traditional foods are roasted turkey, roasted pork, stuffed tomatoes, Christmas bread, and Christmas pudding like 'Pan Dulce' and Panetone. The main meal is traditionally eaten in the evening on Christmas Eve.
Prior to Turkey becoming the mainstay of the Christmas meal in England, Goose was traditionally eaten (before the dissolution of the Monestaries during the reign of King Henry VIII, Geese were given by the local monestary to families in the surrounding villages to be eaten as part of the Christmas meal) but I'm sure that other meats were on the menu aswell.
Réveillon is the festive dinner held on the evenings preceding Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Bread is not eaten with every meal in Greece. It depends on the individual.
Christmas in Canada is celebrated much the same as it is in the United States. Homes and businesses are decorated with a variety of decorations, including Christmas trees. Traditionally people in Japan will eat something called a Christmas Cake on Christmas. A white cake with white frosting and red accents. But it is not eaten just for dinner, but as a treat. Christmas is not celebrated in Japan as it is in the U.S.
